Gettysburg, Pa. (August 24, 2025) – OPEN MINDS and Alera Health announced today the expansion of their partnership to organize and expand clinically integrated “ONEcare” networks that improve care for high-needs populations through integrated, value-based models. As a Premier Partner of OPEN MINDS, Alera Health and OPEN MINDS will work closely with each other to maximize network performance and provide value-based earning by scaling ONEcare networks across key states nationwide.
Alera Health is currently expanding its ONEcare networks in Indiana, Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky, with plans to scale into 3-4 new states each year as providers become ready to organize into clinically integrated networks. In Indiana, for example, Alera Health has partnered with providers to launch a Clinically Integrated Network complementary to the state’s CCBHC demonstration project. Participating providers benefit from resources such as advanced data analytics, care optimization, and opportunities for value-based incentives.
To support this expansion, the Alera/OPEN MINDS partnership in the year ahead will include a ONEcare Symposium that promotes the best practices related to providers and payers participating in the CIN.
ONEcare networks are currently established across the USA and share data and best practices nationally. With over 100 provider organizations and 25,000 behavioral and medical clinicians, ONEcare networks support over 4 million healthcare consumers, including roughly 450,000 with several mental illness. In 2024, ONEcare networks reduced inpatient utilization by over 350,000 bed days and reduced medical spend by roughly 10.6% to target.
