This OPEN MINDS Executive Roundtable was delivered on March 14, 2024 by Parinda Khatri, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer at Cherokee Health Systems. Dr. Khatri discussed how an integrated health care delivery system built a model for actionable data to improve clinical quality outcomes and optimize performance in value-based payor arrangements. CHS is a Federally Qualified Health Center, Licensed Community Mental Health Center, and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facility that provides integrated primary care, behavioral health, dental, optometry, and outreach services across 12 counties in east Tennessee.
Dr. Khatri also shared how CHS realized significant performance gains by developing its own population health tools and transforming clinical operations through collaboration among its data analysts, clinicians, administrators, and finance teams.
