On March 13, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published this evaluation of the first four years (2019 to 2022) of the Maryland Total Cost of Care Model. Under the Maryland Total Cost of Care (MD TCOC) Model, the state has committed to save $2 billion in Medicare spending over eight years and to meet goals for health care quality and population health.
