UnitedHealthcare Selects Mental Health Startups Mood Health & YourPath For Health Care Accelerator

For its fourth-year cohort, the UnitedHealthcare Accelerator selected two mental health startups among the 10 participants. The mental health startups are digital mental health company Mood Health and addiction disorder-focused startup YourPath. The 10 companies, chosen through a rigorous and competitive review process, for the 2022 program class include:

The four-month mentorship-driven UnitedHealthcare Accelerator began on August 15, 2022. This iteration of the program will take a hybrid approach, with six weeks of in-person support in Minneapolis. Of the companies participating, 70% are led by founders who identify as women or as Black, Indigenous, or people of color. The startups will be given close mentorship from UnitedHealthcare executives and subject matter experts from across the industry. The program is intended to help the participants build a network of mentors and peers, evolve their business models, accelerate progress to scale, and reach fundraising milestones.
