Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation (RIPCPC) is partnering with Akido Labs on a joint venture to create bicoastal innovation hubs focused on innovative best practices. The joint venture will build and share best practices focused on deepening relationships between physicians and consumers.
The new organization will build on RIPCPC’s 30-year experience in care delivery, including offering wraparound services and transforming practices to patient-centered medical homes. It will also incorporate Akido’s artificial intelligence technology and its safety net and population health management programs.
A newly created RIPCPC Board to oversee the joint venture will include two physician representatives as well as three Akido representatives.
