Home health provider Elara Caring is partnering with digital health provider Constant Therapy Health to aid individuals with neurological disorders. Under the partnership, the companies will bring artificial intelligence (AI)-driven evidence-based speech-language and cognitive therapy to home health clinicians and individuals in need of care.
Through this partnership, the companies said Elara’s clinical professionals can offer a personalized course of therapeutic exercises for individuals recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, or dementia. Constant Therapy’s enterprise platform can offer the clinicians’ insights that complement Elara Caring’s use of population health data. In addition, the consumers in treatment will have access to the Constant Therapy mobile app, to maintain engagement with their therapy program outside of their scheduled clinical visits.
Elara Caring and Constant Therapy piloted this program during 2023 before this full-scale launch. The program resulted in time savings for clinical professionals and improved outcomes among individuals receiving treatment.
Constant Therapy Health was founded in 2013. It is used by clinical professionals to help individuals recovering from stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI) or living with aphasia, dementia, and other neurological conditions rebuild cognitive and speech function.
Elara Caring was founded in 2018. It operates in 17 states and across 200 locations, serving more than 60,000 individuals. Its services include skilled home health, hospice, personal care services, behavioral health, and palliative care.
